He received a Master of Arts in French Literature in 2017 from the University of Georgia, where he was an instructor of record for three courses of French 1110 during the 2016-2017 academic year. At Vanderbilt, Anthony teaches courses of French 1101 and 1102.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony&#8217;s research interests are centered around the effects of violence within the <em>chansons de geste.<\/em> Anthony is also interested in the postmodern depictions of the Middle Ages (from Robert Bresson to Italo Calvino).<em><br \/>\n<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Anthony is a current PhD candidate in French Literature at Vanderbilt University.
