Founder, Chief Executive Officer – Champions for Charity
Champions for Charity is a 501(c)(3) working to empower young athletes to make a difference in the world around them. Champions for Charity is a student-run initiative that began in January of 2016. With the goal of creating an impact in the community, and empowering youth to actualize their potential, Champions for Charity is a vehicle for social change. By allowing teams in sports tournaments to represent the cause of their choice, Champions for Charity instills the elements of representation, empowerment, and connection, creating an altruistic environment.
To date, we have raised over $50,000 for charities on a local, national, and international scale. Our success has landed media coverage by National Public Radio’s Ideastream, WKYC’s We The People, Freshwater Cleveland, and the Jewish News, in addition to winning the Teen Pitch Tank Competition by the Young Entrepreneur Institute, as well as receiving an honorable mention in the BizInnovator competition by the Jacobson Institute at the University of Iowa.
