I am currently a senior Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. I am a secondary education mathematics teacher licensure candidate. I am originally from the south side of Chicago, Illinois, which has greatly shaped my identity as a Black woman and as a doer of mathematics. Consequently, I hope to return to Chicago and teach in the public school system.
