Research Engineer & Coordinator Position – APPLY HERE
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled, with preferred start date in February or March 2021.
This individual will contribute to a variety of multidisciplinary research projects at the intersection of human movement biomechanics and wearable assistive devices (exoskeletons, prostheses, smart clothing, wearables). They will spend part of their time assisting with human subject data collections, data analysis and engineering device development, and part of their time on project management and motion analysis lab management, including helping to oversee and maintain measurement instrumentation/equipment. Prior biomechanics and motion lab experience is desirable. This is a full-time staff position, not a student position or internship. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the possibility of renewal based on satisfactory performance. The expectation is for the successful candidate to remain for a minimum of 2 years.
