Kathryn is a junior undergraduate majoring in chemistry. Following her time at Vanderbilt, she plans to attend graduate school for physical chemistry. She joined the Buchanan lab in Fall 2017 and is currently conducting an honors research project where she studies protein-nanoparticle interactions using 2D-IR spectroscopy. In her free time, she enjoys reading, creative writing, and going to movies.
