Emma Bartelsen was a recipient of the Best Poster Award for the symposium “Emerging Material Platforms and Fundamental Approaches for Plasmonics, Nanophotonics and Metasurfaces” at the 2025 Materials Research Society (MRS) Spring Meeting. The award was presented by Dr. Howard Lee, the symposium organizer, and supported by Nanophotonics journal, APL Quantum journal, and Raith Inc. Her poster, “Tamm-Plasmon-Based Infrared Gas Sensor for Improved Sensitivity and Selectivity,” showcased our development of tailored thermal emitters for spectrally selective infrared gas sensing.
