He comes to us from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he majored in Mechanical Engineering.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/caldwellgroup\/people\/current-members\/20220614ar488_1\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.vanderbilt.edu\/t2-my\/my-prd\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2532\/2022\/03\/20220614AR488_1-150x150.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-928\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-928'>\n\t\t\t\tAditha Senarath started his Ph.D. in the Vanderbilt Interdisciplinary Materials Science program in the Fall of 2021 and became a member of the Caldwell Lab in the spring of 2022. His academic background includes completing an M.Sc. in Physics from Wright State University, Ohio, followed by his B.Sc., majoring in Physics from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. Joined the Caldwell Lab at the very beginning, was critical to getting the lab setup and initial results getting accumulated. He comes to us from University of Manchester in the UK, where he did his PhD work on THz quantum cascade lasers.\n\t\t\t\t<\/figcaption><\/figure><figure class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<div class='gallery-icon portrait'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/caldwellgroup\/people\/current-members\/unknown\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.vanderbilt.edu\/t2-my\/my-prd\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2532\/2022\/03\/Unknown-150x150.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-929\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<figcaption class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-929'>\n\t\t\t\tLuke Kim is a senior at Vanderbilt university studying mechanical engineering with a minor in digital fabrication.
