Both Josh and Ryan attended and presented at the recent Silicon Carbide Materials & Devices Workshop\u00a0<\/a>at the Air Force Research Lab.\u00a0 Josh presented an invited talk on implications for SiC for advanced infrared optics and nanophotonics, while Ryan presented a poster highlighting recent results from a collaboration with Greg Walker’s group<\/a> (Vanderbilt) on harnessing waste heat to drive narrow-band infrared thermal emitters for a variety of applications.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, they both had the pleasure of visiting the Air Force Lab’s Aviation Museum.\u00a0 It was fantastic!\u00a0 Below find some photos!<\/p>\n
