The NSTGRO is part of NASA&#8217;s initiative to support graduate students who are studying low technology-readiness level (TRL) space research. The proposal will investigate the optical and vibrational characteristics of the point defects using photoluminescence confocal microscopy, second-order autocorrelation, and nanoscale IR spectroscopy. This research will help to understand the defects&#8217; potential for solid-state quantum information science platforms.
