Our team will use the information you provide to determine\u00a0which studies\u00a0would be a good match for you and your child. Someone will contact you to provide specific details about the study and time commitment, and to answer any questions you may have.<\/p>\n

If you decide\u00a0to\u00a0participate, you can schedule an appointment for a date and time that works well for you.<\/p>\n

My appointment is scheduled. Where do I go?<\/span><\/h3>\n

For studies taking place on the Peabody College campus, we\u00a0will send you detailed driving\u00a0directions to our reserved parking spots, located near the intersection of 18th Avenue South and Horton Avenue.\u00a0\"Screen<\/p>\n

A member of our team will meet you at your car to give you a parking pass and walk you to the Jesup\/Hobbs building, which houses the Department of Psychology and Human Development.<\/p>\n

If your study is located off-campus, we will\u00a0provide detailed\u00a0instructions by phone and\/or email.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

What happens once I arrive at the study location?<\/span><\/h3>\n

When you arrive, a member of our team will review the details of the study with you\u00a0and answer any final questions you may have.<\/p>\n

  • Our studies are\u00a0typically 30-60 minutes long.<\/li>\n
  • You can remain with your child at all times. However,\u00a0we may ask you to observe from nearby.<\/li>\n
  • All information received from you and your child is completely confidential.<\/li>\n
  • At the end of the study, your child will receive a small thank-you prize for participating.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
