Levy Restaurants
In the fall of 2018, I interned with Levy Restaurants at Nissan Stadium. I worked as an assistant chef and was tasked to put together food dishes for the upcoming football games or concerts. I learned how to use cooking equipment like the ovens, grills, popcorn maker, and pizza oven.
I enjoyed working with everyone at Nissan Stadium and gained the work experience that was needed for my other future upcoming jobs or dream/career jobs.
In the spring of 2019, I interned with Levy Restaurants again, but at Bridgestone Arena. I worked in the kitchen and also managed a food stand in the suites area of the arena. I helped prepare food and use a hot box to transfer food to the food stand. At the food stand, I assemble plates for customers with dishes such as sandwiches, nachos, and carved meat. I tackled the challenge of working by myself at the stand and learned to ask my coworkers when I needed more food or an extra hand.
In the fall of 2019 and spring of 2020 I have continued to work at Levy restaurants. I have been working at both Nissan Stadium and Bridgestone area. This requires me to adjust to different equipments and menus. I am able to go back and forth between locations and adjust as needed.
Everyone has been helpful to me at my job and they are always willing to give me feedback on the progress that I have made or that I still need to work on. I continue to work at Levy Restaurants at both Bridgestone Arena and Nissan Stadium as needed for events.
