Sirena

Sirena Tran is a graduate student in the Microbe-Host Interaction (MHI) program. She got her bachelor’s in Biochemistry at the University of San Diego. Sirena joined the Cover lab in 2020 and her research interests are focused on H. pylori’s cag Type IV Secretion System (cag T4SS), specifically its potential role in nutrient acquisition. Outside of the lab, she likes to explore different parts of Nashville, go to different art crawls, and watch Korean dramas.
