(Steve Green \/ Vanderbilt University)\" width=\"366\" height=\"514\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dr. Abhishek Dubey currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research in College of Connected Computing. He is an Associate Professor of Computer Science, \u00a0Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering, as well as a Chancellor Faculty Fellow at Vanderbilt University. He directs the <a href=\"https:\/\/scopelab.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>SCOPE Lab<\/strong><\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.isis.vanderbilt.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Institute for Software-Integrated Systems<\/a> and serves as a Senior Research Scientist within the institute. Dr. Dubey has also served in the past as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation, where he oversaw the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS), Smart and Connected Communities (SCC), and Civic Innovation Challenge (CIVIC) programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">His broad research interest is in the decision-making under uncertainty for <strong>societal-scale Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS)<\/strong> with a focus on transportation and mobility, emergency response, and electric infrastructure. His current work explores <strong>non-stationarity and long-term impact<\/strong>, investigating principled, non-myopic optimization methods that enhance resilience, performance, and assurance of cyber-physical systems. He currently leads <strong>Smart and Connected Community research efforts<\/strong> focusing on <strong>design and optimization of public transit systems in Chattanooga, TN, and Nashville, TN<\/strong>, through his group <a href=\"https:\/\/smarttransit.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">smarttransit.ai<\/a>, as well as <strong>emergency response system optimization<\/strong> through <a href=\"https:\/\/statresp.ai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statresp.ai<\/a>. Dr. Dubey\u2019s work has been supported by organizations such as <strong>NSF, NASA, DOE, ARPA-E, AFRL, DARPA, Nissan, Siemens, Cisco, and IBM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">In addition to his academic research, Dr. Dubey has <strong>co-founded <a href=\"https:\/\/mobiusai.tech\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mobius AI<\/a><\/strong>, a company focused on bringing cutting-edge technology in <strong>logistics and fleet management<\/strong> to the market, bridging the gap between research and practical applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A recipient of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nsf.gov\/awardsearch\/showAward?AWD_ID=2238815&amp;HistoricalAwards=false\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>NSF CAREER Award (2022)<\/strong><\/a>, Dr. Dubey has published <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=5J3w9OoAAAAJ&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>over 200 articles<\/strong><\/a>. He holds a <strong>Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering<\/strong> from Vanderbilt University and a <strong>B.S. in Electrical Engineering<\/strong> from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Abhishek Dubey currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research in College of Connected Computing.
