I have always had and still do have a love of Astronomy. I spent many nights outside watching meteor showers, looking for variable stars and general star gazing. I still remember watching all the Apollo missions to the moon.

I studied Astronomy when I first went to college in 1978 at S.U.N.Y. at Stony Brook, NY. It was a philosophy class though that made me think twice about becoming a scientist, and so I took a few years off, played music and studied philosophy and eventually returned to college to study philosophy.
