Laboratory of David L. Tabb, Ph.D.
The Tabb Laboratory was part of the Department of Biomedical Informatics in Vanderbilt University School of Medicine from August of 2005 to June of 2015. During the summer of 2015, the Tabb Laboratory moved to the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa.
Software created by the Tabb Lab at Vanderbilt for proteome informatics included the MyriMatch database search engine, the DirecTag / TagRecon sequence tagger, the Pepitome spectral library search engine, the QuaMeter quality metrics analyzer, and the IDPicker protein assembly framework. These tools are all available through the ProteoWizard source code repository.
