Before earning my Ph.D. in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT) at the University of Arizona, I taught French as a Foreign Language in K-12\u00a0in France and in the United States. My teaching experiences at multiple levels, from Elementary school up to college, had greatly sustained my reflection on the language learning process and contributed to improving my teaching skills.<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"entry-content\">My research interests focus on the implementation of innovative pedagogical frameworks supported by technological tools and authentic resources that reinforce students 21<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0century skills, foster new literacies including media productions and digital storytelling, and\u00a0foster intercultural competence and social justice awareness. I am also interested in\u00a0designing classroom activities around\u00a0the representation and the production of the french language and culture\u00a0in\u00a0movies, documentaries, and social media platforms.<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">As an LPD, I am currently\u00a0working on the development of\u00a0a lower-level French curriculum\u00a0grounded in\u00a0Multiliteracies, further enhanced through the implementation of a Slow Teaching and Eco-pedagogy approaches.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Born in south of France, Perpignan, I am currently Assistant Professor of the Practice in French and serve as the French Language Program Director (LPD) at Vanderbilt University.
