Visual of the motor controller wired into the car. It is attached between the motor and the battery. We cut the two wires going between the motor and the battery to create four terminals. The four terminals had extender wires soldered to them, the connection was covered with heat shrink, and then the four extender wires were screwed into the motor controller.
