Weekly meeting 14 (4/01/19)

  • Classifier
    • Leaning towards using linear piecewise function (other two options are polyfit and piecewise polyfit)
    • Want to include calibration for MVC of each person
      • The x-value will scale
    • Can try plotting each person individually which will show the variability between people
  • Servos
    • Tried altering pulse-width with analog, but could only control frequency
    • Found a library to control exact pulse widths
    • At the output of the classifier, will make a black box mapping algorithm mapping pulsewidth
    • Servo stays in current position after stopping voltage
  • Servo-hand
    • Want to be able to show change in state/behavior of control system
    • We can implement it inversely (can comment out PID code), showing change of state
    • This demonstration will show proof of concept
  • For the lab
    • Will write documentation of code
    • Should say what needs to be changed to work with the prosthetic
      • Two-big points of change
    • Should include diagrams
  • Moving forward
    • Have three weeks left
    • Classifier is almost done
    • PID is developed
    • Should be able to have tested with servo by the middle of next week
      • Emily would like to see a video
    • Have hardware ready to go
    • Will have it completed by design day
