Registration Update
Hello friends, how was your week?
Here are some things to know as we go into week two:
- We are diligently working to enroll students in the upper-level courses they need, expand waitlists, add seats and sections where necessary and/or possible, and get everyone to the finish line.
- You’re tired of me saying this, but registration really is a process. This is just the first round. There will be a great deal of movement in your schedule before August.
- Remember to consult Navigating HOD for many of your questions. There is information on tracks and domains, on the process for studying abroador declaring another major or minor, on understanding why your degree audit looks the way it does, etc. etc. etc. etc.
- We’re all here to support you! We’re getting lots and lots of emails and are responding as quickly as we can.
- Here is information on how to contact us or make an appointment if you need to.
Here are some actions you can take:
- If you are a rising senior and can’t get into an HOD course you need for graduation requirements, please complete this form. You don’t need to submit this multiple times! We are reviewing these requests alongside your degree audit and manually enrolling students. This takes time! Please watch your email for updates, questions, or time conflict issues.
- If you are a rising junior and can’t get on a waitlist for a course, you can fill out this form. We are hopeful that the waitlists will be expanded and spots will be opening. This form registers your issue, but you should continue to manually check YES to see if spots become available.
- If you are a rising sophomore, focus on completing your core HOD requirements and liberal core during registration. Please reach out to us if you have questions or need assistance.
- Remember that if you are planning to complete your capstone in Spring of 2025, you must enroll in HOD 4949 in the fall; it is a zero credit hour course, so it will not affect your overall course load.
Summer is coming! We’re almost there!
All best,
Professor L for Professor Blaha, your advising emotional support team
