I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. Before moving to Vanderbilt, I have worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at ENS (Lyon), INRIA (Rh\u00f4ne-Alpes), and IRIT (Toulouse) in France.<\/h5>\n<h5>My research focuses on the broad area of improving <em>performance<\/em>, <em>energy efficiency<\/em> (green computing, thermal-aware computing), and <em>reliability<\/em> (resilience, fault tolerance) of High-Performance Computing (HPC), cloud\/edge computing, IoT, and distributed computing systems and applications. I am interested in\u00a0<em>design and analysis of algorithms<\/em>, <em>resource\u00a0scheduling<\/em>, <em>performance modeling and<\/em>\u00a0<em>optimization<\/em>.<\/h5>\n<h5>I am also interested in <em>data science <\/em>in general\u00a0and the application of computatational and optimization techniques in particular to solve big-data problems that arise in various fields (e.g., machine learning, neuroscience).<\/h5>\n<h5>If you are interested in my work or would like to collaborate, please don&#8217;t hesitate to drop me an email.<\/h5>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u00a0will be\u00a0joining the University of Kansas in Fall 2021.\u00a0 This site will no longer be maintained.
