Race for Research"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/ihrielab\/\">Dr. Rebecca Ihrie<\/a> and I received the Ann Faulkenberry Memorial Award from the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbtf.org\/\">Southeastern Brain Tumor Foundation<\/a> (SBTF) and participated in the annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sbtf.org\/events\/race-for-research\/\">race for research<\/a> this weekend.\u00a0 The\u00a0grant will provide two years of funding for our collaborative work applying quantitative single cell tools to study glioblastoma.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Members of this project have received honors, including an <a href=\"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/irishlab\/2017\/04\/award-for-leelatian-aacr-brain-tumor-association-scholar-in-training\/\">AACR Brain Tumor Association Scholar<\/a> award for Dr. Nalin Leelatian and an Editors Best 2016-2017 award for original publication describing brain tumor mass cytometry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1235\" style=\"width: 442px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1235\" class=\"size-full wp-image-1235\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.vanderbilt.edu\/t2-my\/my-prd\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/424\/2017\/10\/2017-SBTF-Ihrie-and-Irish-Race-for-Research-p2-small.jpg\" alt=\"2017 SBTF Ihrie and Irish Race for Research p1\" width=\"432\" height=\"324\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-1235\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jonathan Irish &amp;
