Abstract:
A great deal of support exists for viewing service-learning as a sound pedagogical practice that benefits both language learners and the community in which college students become involved. This article describes and analyzes a service-learning program involving university students of Spanish who serve as classroom assistants at a local dual immersion elementary school. (author)
