About the Project

An 11-year old patient experiences a complex motor stereotypy due to Rhombencephalosynapsis, a brain malformation. The condition causes a head and neck tremor which occurs periodically, but can  be controlled when her attention is focused. While not life-threatening, these tremors or tics hinder her socially, so she is in need of a device that she can wear during the school day to address this problem.
