Kenric will graduate from Vanderbilt University in May 2018.

Originally from Denver, Colorado, Kenric attended Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. After graduating from Columbine, Kenric would have the opportunity to play college football at the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York. Kenric’s father, Kenneth J. Lull, served over 30 years in the United States Army, and he retired as a Colonel. His mother, Chris Lull, is a registered nurse in Rutherford County, Tennessee.

Army Football

Kenric played Army football from 2006-2010.

While at West Point, Kenric served in a variety of leadership positions to include squad leader, platoon sergeant, and company commander. Additionally, he served as the President of the Football Chapter for t  he Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). Kenric was a 4-year collegiate athlete, and letterman for the football team. Kenric graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point (New York) with a B.S. in Environmental Science in 2010. Following graduation from West Point, Kenric would be selected to stay with the football team as a Graduate Assistant, coaching the offensive line at the United States Military Academy Prep School.

Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Kenric served over 7 years in the United States Army as an officer in the field artillery. Some of his leadership positions include Platoon Leader, Battery Executive Officer, Operations Officer, and Battalion Fire Support Officer. In 2015, Kenric deployed to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve. During the deployment, he would work with allies on real-world missions and training exercises in Kazakhstan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Turkey, Qatar, and Bahrain. Throughout his time on active duty, Kenric attended both the Basic Officer Leadership Course (2011) and the Captain’s Career Course (2014) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Kenric worked for the Los Angeles Rams in 2017.

Ready for a career change, Kenric transitioned off active duty to attend Vanderbilt University in the fall of 2016. While he currently continues to serve in the United States Army Reserves, Kenric is excited about the prospects of a career in human resources, leadership development, organization development, operations, marketing, or consulting. He is also excited about pursing employment opportunities in sports administration. This past summer, Kenric worked as an operations and scouting assistant for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. Additionally, he has recently worked for the Vanderbilt University football program, assisting in operations and player development. Kenric has a variety of interests to include reading, hiking, skiing, hunting, fishing, and is an avid fan of the Denver Broncos and Professional Football.
