NCAA,\u00a0<\/em>the Supreme Court&#8217;s 2018 decision invalidating a federal\u00a0statute\u00a0that\u00a0barred the states\u00a0from\u00a0legalizing sports gambling: <a href=\"https:\/\/papers.ssrn.com\/sol3\/papers.cfm?abstract_id=3625237\" target=\"_blank\">Murphy&#8217;s <em>Mistake, and How to Fix it<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(SSRN).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">I previously blogged about the case <a href=\"https:\/\/my.vanderbilt.edu\/marijuanalaw\/2018\/05\/the-implications-of-murphy-v-ncaa-for-state-marijuana-reforms\/\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>. The new paper discusses the case and its implications for state marijuana reforms in much greater depth.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The paper has also been included as a chapter\u00a0in a wonderful new book published by Brookings, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Marijuana-Federalism-Uncle-Mary-Jane\/dp\/0815737890\/ref=sr_1_1?crid=1XEVE17VGD0EX&amp;dchild=1&amp;keywords=marijuana+federalism+uncle+sam+and+mary+jane&amp;qid=1592168538&amp;sprefix=uncle+sam+and+mary%2Caps%2C158&amp;sr=8-1\" target=\"_blank\">Marijuana Federalism: Uncle Sam and Mary Jane<\/a> (Adler, J., ed.)
