As part of the experiential learning component of my new course on Biomedical Microdevices, I take students through the process of nanofabrication using advanced tools like electron beam lithography, mask aligner, electron beam deposition, etc. Students learn how these tools are used to perform top-down fabrication to make micro devices for societal benefits.
