Do you know about VandyInteraxon?  Please pass this along to your students in your labs!

VandyInteraxon is a brand new service organization at Vanderbilt University. Brought from the University of Califormia-Los Angeles and begun in Fall 2011, we have come together to visit Nashville-area schools once a month in order to expose students to the study of the brain. Through fun, interactive lessons lasting 30 minutes to an hour, we teach students in grades 3-12 basic neural concepts, including the anatomy of a neuron, functions of different brain regions, and disorders of the nervous system.
