NORA (Network of Research Administrators) is a collaborative group of research administrators from across Vanderbilt University, ranging across a wide skillset and diverse thought, united to support each other and the University as a whole. We believe that it’s better to work together, learn from each other, and support each other’s work. We aren’t a formal group – just colleagues working together.

Our Mission
We’re aiming to serve the Vanderbilt research community by providing a platform for collaboration between research administrators to:
- Provide a platform for sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices
- Develop a systematic approach for problem-solving, utilizing diverse and highly-skilled input for problem-solving
- Curate a collective voice for decision-making and focused feedback for key stakeholders
- Networking with thought-leading research administrators across functional expertise at VU
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders including departmental, central, and external partnerships
- Promote members in personal and professional growth
