Welcome to NORA<\/strong><\/h1>\n

NORA\u00a0(Network of Research Administrators)\u00a0is a collaborative group of research administrators from across Vanderbilt University, ranging across a wide skillset and diverse thought, united to support\u00a0each other and the University as a whole. We believe that\u00a0it\u2019s better to work together,\u00a0learn from each other, and\u00a0support each other\u2019s work. We aren\u2019t a formal group – just colleagues working together.<\/p>\n

Our Mission<\/b><\/h1>\n

We\u2019re aiming to serve the Vanderbilt research community by providing a platform\u00a0for collaboration between research administrators to:<\/p>\n

  1. Provide a platform for sharing knowledge, resources, and best practices<\/li>\n
  2. Develop a systematic approach for problem-solving, utilizing diverse and\u00a0highly-skilled input for problem-solving<\/li>\n
  3. Curate a collective voice for decision-making and focused feedback for\u00a0key stakeholders<\/li>\n
  4. Networking with thought-leading research administrators across functional\u00a0expertise at VU<\/li>\n
  5. Develop relationships with key stakeholders including departmental,\u00a0central, and external partnerships<\/li>\n
  6. Promote members in personal and professional growth<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
