Join us on a journey in Spring 2025 to learn about Women’s Resistance in France during World War II with travel to Normandy, Caen, Paris during spring break.
Here is some important information to know before applying.
- This class meets on campus 4 Fridays from 4:30-9pm and in France during Vanderbilt’s spring break. Our first on-campus session will be the Friday the first week of class in January. You must attend all sessions; please do not enroll if you would expect to be absent for any of the dates. Class dates 1/10/25, 1/31/25, 2/21/25, and 3/28/25.
- In addition to regular tuition fees, this course incurs an additional fee (Spring 2025 fee is $5450) that covers airfare, transportation in France, tickets, some meals, etc. If you receive financial aid, it is possible that you can use that aid to cover the fee. Contact your financial aid officer to ask if this possible for you.
- Students from any undergrad program and those in an M.Ed. program may apply to the course. We do give some preference to upperclassmen who may not be able to apply again next year.
