October 19th from 9: 30 am – 2: 30 pm

February 1st from 9: 30 am – 2: 30 pm

April 25th from 9: 30 am – 2: 30 pm

I want to apply for PLAA (PLĀ), what will I be asked to do?

You will be asked to:
– lead one 30-minute teaching session in which you share your knowledge on a literacy-related subject/topic.
– attend all three professional development days
– be an advocate for literacy in your school and community
– participate in our group forum- to assist other PLAA members when questions arise.
– bring a positive attitude and come ready to learn
