Mark Lipsey, Principal Investigator
Mark Lipsey’s professional interests are in the areas of public policy, program evaluation research, social intervention, field research methodology, and research synthesis (meta-analysis). The topics of his recent research have been risk and intervention for juvenile delinquency and substance use, early childhood education programs, and issues of methodological quality in program evaluation research.
Sandra Wilson, Principal Investigator
Sandra Wilson is the Associate Director at the Peabody Research Institute and a Research Assistant Professor in the Special Education Department. Her professional interests are in the areas of meta-analysis, program evaluation, research methodology, and the prevention of antisocial behavior. Her recent research focuses on risk factors associated with school failure, the development and measurement of self-regulation in young children, and the prevention of school dropout.
Emily Tanner-Smith, Research Assistant Professor
Emily Tanner-Smith, Ph.D., is a Research Assistant Professor at the Peabody Research Institute and Department of Human and Organizational Development at Vanderbilt University. Her broad areas of expertise include the social epidemiology, prevention, and treatment of adolescent substance use. Tanner-Smith is a research methodologist with emphasis in systematic reviewing and meta-analysis, and she is currently the Associate Editor for the Methods Coordinating Group of The Campbell Collaboration.
