Congratulations Andy!
At today’s College of Arts & Sciences faculty meeting, Andrew Tomarken PhD received the Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching. Established in 1985 by the College in collaboration with the Graduate School, this award recognizes a graduate faculty member in the College of Arts and Science for outstanding classroom teaching. Andy is highly deserving of this award; all indicators, both quantifiable and subjective, clearly indicate that he is an exceptionally gifted teacher.
Andy follows Steve Hollon who won the same honor last year, attesting to our faculty’s pursuit of excellence in educating the next generation of scientists not only in the lab, but in the classroom as well.
