<\/a>Ramnarayan Ramachandran,<\/strong> Principal Investigator<\/p>\nAssoc. Prof., Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences Education: Education: Adriana is a\u00a0fourth year graduate student in the Neuroscience Graduate Program and is co-advised by Dr. Mark Wallace. In the lab, Adriana studies how auditory and visual motion information is integrated and represented across levels of processing in the macaque brain. In her free time, she enjoys playing music, gardening, cooking, treasure hunting in Nashville thrift shops, and hanging out with her dog, Cash.<\/p>\n Amy Stahl,\u00a0<\/strong>Graduate Student Education:<\/em> Amy is a\u00a0second year Ph.D.\u00a0student in Vanderbilt\u2019s Neuroscience Graduate Program. Amy attended Vanderbilt University Medical School as an Au.D. student from 2017-2021, completed\u00a0her audiology clinical externship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center July 2020-July 2021, and graduated with her Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.) in May 2021. Amy is pursuing her Ph.D. with interests in the physiological mechanisms of auditory perception, how those mechanisms break down with hearing loss, the perceptual consequences of those breakdowns, and ways to improve diagnostics and (re)habilitation (e.g., hearing assistive technology, therapeutic recovery) of hearing problems. In her free time, Amy enjoys cycling, baking\/cooking, and spending time with family\/friends.<\/p>\n Education:<\/em> Kari is a\u00a0third year Au.D. student who is generally interested in auditory neuroscience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from St. Olaf College. Kari joined the lab because she is interested in studying auditory perception and hearing loss in an animal model. She plans to pursue a career in Audiology, whether that be research or in a clinical setting.
