A 29-year-old male patient was referred to our hepatology outpatient clinic for evaluation of multiple liver nodules (Figure A). Imagiological and histological evaluations revealed nodular regenerative hyperplasia secondary to extrahepatic portosystemic shunt between portal vein (PV) and inferior vena cava (IVC) (type 2 Abernethy malformation).
