An Unusual Cause of Thoracic Mass

Question: An 81-year-old man presented to the emergency department of our hospital with a painful bulge along the right costal margin after a blunt trauma. His past medical history included a non-Hodgkin lymphoma and a sigmoidectomy for sigmoid diverticulitis. Physical examination revealed a slightly tender and reducible mass between the ninth and the tenth ribs. Vital signs were normal. Blood tests showed no inflammatory syndrome with normal liver function tests. The thoracoabdominal computed tomography scan is showed in Figure A.
