Unusual Gastric Nodules

Question: A 70-year-old man from Italy presented with dyspnea, fainting, and coughing. His medical history includes diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and morbid obesity. On physical examination, he had pale conjunctiva and systolic heart murmur. His laboratory tests showed hemoglobin of 8.6 g/dL, mean corpuscular volume of 73.9 fL, iron of 17 μg/dL, and ferritin of 6 ng/mL, consistent with iron deficiency anemia. His white blood cell count is normal. His liver transaminases are mildly elevated.
