Patients with fibrostenotic Crohn’s disease (CD) are commonly advised to avoid fiber during symptomatic episodes. Fiber intake modulates the intestinal microbiota composition. The influence of low fiber diets in patients with Crohn’s disease on the intestinal microbiota composition is unknown.
