The authors and editors present a volume covering a wide variety of endoscopic (and nonendoscopic) “hot topics.” Spanning just >200 pages, the text includes 14 chapters that include applications relevant to endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD), upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, endoscopic ultrasound imaging, as well as a few other related techniques and procedures. The book has a strong international flair, with the vast majority of the authors coming from Italy (US and Asian authors served as contributors to the book as well).
