CPEB4 Increases Expression of PFKFB3 to Induce Glycolysis and Activate Mouse and Human Hepatic Stellate Cells, Promoting Liver Fibrosis

We identified a metabolic change that occurs in liver cells during development of fibrosis and the proteins that regulate it. Agents developed to block this process might be beneficial for treatment of liver fibrosis.
