Starting May 1, VUMC will expand COVID-19 safety procedures to include required universal masking. Universal masking is defined as “All workforce members, patients, and visitors will be required to wear a cloth/fabric face mask or procedural /surgical mask while in all VUMC clinical care and public space settings.”
