Due to increasing spread of COVID-19 in the community, there has been an increased demand for COVID-19 testing. This has required outsourcing to outside labs with a resulting increase in turnaround time for SARS CoV-2 PCR (COVID-19) testing for routine outpatients to 3-5 business days.
