Serotonin affects intestinal physiology, mood, as well as circadian rhythm. Moreover, serotonin has proinflammatory function. Therefore, the aim of this study was to investigate the role of serotonin in clinical severity of Crohn’s Disease (CD) and its effect on pain and sleep quality.
