After 37 years of distinguished career in government service, Mushtaq Khan recently retired from his position as Scientific Review Officer (SRO) of the Clinical, Integrative and Molecular Gastroenterology (CIMG) Study Section of the Center for Scientific Review (CSR) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He was also formerly Chief of the Digestive, Kidney and Urological Systems (DKUS) Integrated Review Group (IRG) at the CSR. Since 1988, Mushtaq has served in various capacities that oversaw peer reviews of digestive diseases research grant applications submitted to the NIH.
