We are saddened by the loss of our wonderful colleague and friend, Wendy Atkin, who passed away in October 2018. Wendy was neither a gastroenterologist nor a surgeon, but her work on colorectal cancer (CRC) screening, surveillance, and quality have had an enormous, lasting impact on our specialty.
