There are currently several recruitment challenges in randomized controlled trials (RCT) for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) which prolong the drug approval process and affect the generalizability of study results. The purpose of this study is to characterize individuals who participate in IBD RCTs and identify factors which could influence future recruitment strategies.
