This document presents the official recommendations of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the Joint Task Force on Allergy-Immunology Practice Parameters (JTF) on the management of eosinophilic esophagitis. The guideline was developed jointly by the AGA’s Clinical Practice Guideline Committee and the JTF with approval of both the boards of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and approved by both the AGA Governing Board and JTF Governing Boards.
