For the continued safety of VUMC staff, faculty, patients and visitors, effective Monday, May 4, the COVID-19 screening guidelines for all individuals entering a VUMC facility will expand to include both temperature and symptom check. Staff or faculty who have a 100 degree or greater temperature or any of the following symptoms in the past 7 days (shortness of breath, loss of taste of smell, cough, fever, diarrhea, chills, body aches, headache, sore throat), will not be allowed to enter the facility for work.
