Exposure is defined as being within 6 feet of an infected person for a cumulative total of 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period. Look for any new onset of respiratory or flu-like symptoms, including cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste (without other neurologic symptoms), diarrhea, sore throat, muscle aches, headache or fever/chills.
