The gastroenterology community mourns the loss of Tadataka “Tachi” Yamada, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 76 years. He is survived by Leslie, his beloved wife of 54 years; his children, Sanae and Takeo, and their spouses; his 4 grandchildren, Emimae, David, Rose, and Claire; his nephew, Masayoshi Elliott; and his niece, Emi Camilla.
